Business Meetings for Participants of the School of Good Governance: Advocacy with Experts and Donors

Last weekend Institute of policy and governance conducted two sessions of business meetings with domestic and foreign experts and donors for participants of the project "School of Good Governance: Advocacy".

Business meetings gave a unique opportunity for members of the School of Good Governance: Advocacy to present the process of implementation of their own advocacy campaigns to experts and donors. They also had the opportunity to have a personal talk with each speaker, ask questions and receive detailed answers and advices.

At the first session of business meetings  were: CEO of Tangram Ukraine Oleksii Tsebro, director of NGO "Regional advocacy center "Life"  Andriy Skipalskyi, coordinator of Freedom House Zorian Kis and Global Chief Stratergy Officer in Green Bee Asset Management, managing partner  of Mastergaz Robert Bassili.

The first session of the business meeting was devoted to the analysis of participant’s advocacy campaigns. Experts have commented and expressed their opinions about each project, highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of the projects, answered questions and inspired the participants of the School for future success and new achievements in the implementation of advocacy campaigns.

In the second part of business meetings among the invited guests were: National coordinator of OSCE projects in Ukraine Natalia Betsa, project manager of DESPRO in Ukraine Oksana Garnets and program assistant of project UNITER, PACT Christina Rybachok. They presented their organizations to the participants, told about the directions of their activity, grants for advocacy projects and the processes of  submitting grant applications, gave comments and advices  to all participants.

Invited guests and participants talked in a relaxed atmosphere in the form of off-record, frankly and freely expressed their views and fruitfully worked for a successful result of each participant.
